The small island of Ammouliani is located 120 km from Thessaloniki and is only accessible by ferry boat, it has one port which is being serviced from the port of Tripiti on the mainland.

Ammouliani is connected to the mainland (port Tripiti) via frequent ferryboat sailings that last just 10 minutes. In order to reach the port of "Tripiti" via car you must to travel towards the small town of "Nea Roda" located on the third "finger" of Chalkidiki peninsula. Once you reach "Nea Roda" you bypass it and continue traveling on the "Ierisou - Agiou Orous" road until you reach the port of "Tripiti".

The closests airports are the ones in Thessaloniki (Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia - SKG) which is approximately 120km from Ammouliani and the one in Kavala (Kavala Airport "Alexander the Great" - KVA) which is approximately 160km from Ammouliani. Both airports receive numerous flights from all over Europe especially during the summer season.
